Privacy Policy

What we store. Your email, a hashed password, your display name, the character cards you import, your chats, your settings, illustrations generated for your chats, and a daily usage counter.

Where messages go. To generate a reply, the relevant part of your chat is sent to the model you chose through OpenRouter, and to a small model that keeps a running story summary. Scene illustrations are generated by Alibaba Model Studio (Wan) from a short prompt derived from your chat, and stored on Cloudflare R2. We do not sell or share your chats with anyone else.

Flags. When you flag a reply, the reason and your comment are sent to the LoreChat team. The last few messages are included only if you tick the box.

Analytics. We count events like “card imported” and “message sent” to see what works. These counts never include message content.

Cookies. One session cookie keeps you signed in. Nothing else.

Your control. Export everything or delete your account from Settings. Deleting removes your data from our database immediately; generated images are removed from storage within 30 days.
